The Djembe is my favorite African Drum. This Video is extremely long but after thirty seconds I get the urge to break out into some sort of ritualistic dance. I'm sorry if my cool stuff isn't cool...I'm not cool...I'm kinda boring actually.

I like the timbre of the Djembe too. I enjoy watching the socialization that goes along with the music making. Is it common for that many Djembes to be played at once?
ReplyDeleteThe Djembe clip was really interesting. I also thought the fact that Wycleff was singing in a different key was really interesting. He is pretty popular, so its nice to see him stepping outside the box popular musicians get stuck in so often. I think its really cool for him to experiment like that.
